- I am the mother to three great little boys, and wife to a great guy. Over a year ago we started out trying to get out of debt. I "stewed" on the idea of whether or not is was possible to save as much in a year as we received in our tax return. so we set out on this experiment to see if we could do it. After about 9 months into the year, we succeeded. Along the way, we learned things that worked and things that were more work than they were worth. I've had a lot of questions, so I started hosting "Saving Sessions". Then friends from other states started asking questions, and then came the birth of "Live Well-spend Less".
